Tour in Gozzo

The gozzo is a fishing boat that has its origins in the Italian maritime tradition. They are typical in Puglia but are also found in other Italian coastal regions. The classic gozzo is built entirely of wood, by masters of axe with ancient tradition. Nowadays the wooden construction has become almost prohibitive, but the tradition is kept alive, by small and large yards scattered along all our coasts

On this Guided Tour we will board a Gozzo owned by a professional fisherman with experience handed down from father to son and from generation to generation. Together with him, an expert local guide will tell you stories and legends of Brindisi, the port and its deep connection with the sea. You will have the opportunity to admire our magnificent natural port, from the east to the west.
